Eat Some PIzza at Rustico This Summer
Flower Mound is known for great things, especially it’s food scene. But of course, there’s one that stands just a little bit above the rest. It may have planted its flag in cities like New York and Chicago, but we here at Rustico think that we may have those cities beat. We’re talking about pizza in Flower Mound! Today, we’ll take a look at Rustico’s top four pizzas.
Honey Pig
First on the list of pizzas at Rustico is called the Honey Pig. Flower Mound Bars may have great drinks but they have nothing on our honey pig pizza. What comes on it? We put Italian sausage, pepperoni, prosciutto, and spicy honey. It’s a favorite among eaters because it’s different from the norm. Anyone can serve a regular slice. But not every slice brings the spice!
Margherita
Next up to make the list of best food in Flower Mound is Rustico’s style of Margherita pizza. What we’ve learned in our many years of business is that no matter who the guest is in our restaurant, it’s rare that they don’t want to check out our Margherita pie. With mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil, house herbs, and the care needed to make the crust just the right amount of crispy, you’ll be asking for more in no time!
Vegetarian Pizza
Restaurants near Flower Mound can be great, but sometimes they lack a certain menu item that’s rather important in 2021 and that’s vegetarian. With people being far more aware of their eating habits than never before, vegetarian pizza has become all the rage. That’s because on our pizza we put red onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, cherry tomatoes, Brussels sprouts, zucchini noodles, and green olives. There’s a common misconception that vegetarianism is boring, or that the flavors don’t pop like regular dishes. When it comes to pizza though, we can attest that there’s nothing further from the truth. Don’t believe us? Then come try it for yourself!
Date & Prosciutto Pizza
Last but not least, Rustico would be nothing in the pizza world without this style of pie which we call the date and prosciutto pizza. Some guests consider this our more upscale option, but we’d like to think that anyone can enjoy it. What’s on it? We make this pizza with some mozzarella, lemonette arugula, and truffle oil. Sure, prosciutto and truffle oil is the cheapest of ingredients out there but we like to treat our pizza lovers with the best there is, leaving them talking and with some great memories.
And there you have it, this has been some of the pizzas that Rustico prides itself on. You don’t have to be a pizza lover to eat them, but we know you will be once you have!
